Before getting underway, I’d like to give credit to the very good friend of mine who came up with the title of our blog. If it weren’t for the creative genius of Ms. Ruchi Gupta (who coincidentally works for a large advertising house), Olivertheworld might otherwise have come to be known as EatenbyMonkeys.com or worse, Dysentery’r’us.com.

As the winner, Ruchi will receive the left-over toiletries stashed underneath the sink in our master bedroom that we’re unable to pack with us on our trip. Thank you, Ruchi and congratulations!

Per my promise, listed below is a selection of the entries that were submitted, each one of them brilliant in their own right.

  1. I absolutely LOVE the name of the blog…it’s brilliant! Rosemarie and I work together and she talks about you guys ALL the time, especially Oliver :-). She shared your blog with me and I am so excited to join you on your journey through your words! I think the life you all have chosen is remarkable and wish you nothing but the best in your journey. Your children will be forces to be reckoned with when it’s their turn to face the world…BRAVO to you and Ryan….BRAVO!!

    1. Thank you for your very kind words, Kimberly, and thank you for being a reader of ours! We’re so happy to share our journey with our friends back home. We can only hope that our experiences help to build the certain kind of character in our children that one day will help them see the entire world as “home”.
